Terms of service
A small service with a simple job: bring your saved Posts back to your inbox. These are the conditions for using it.

1. Your agreement
These draft terms describe mailmelater.app, operated by Exon Enterprise, and must receive legal review before public launch. New users sign in with X, then add a card to start a free trial. Neither sign-in nor trial card setup selects a paid plan or starts a paid subscription.
To use an account, you must be at least 18, have authority to use the X account you connect, and control any delivery email you provide. You are responsible for keeping your X account and email account secure and for keeping your delivery and billing details accurate.
2. What the service does
After you authorize X with bookmark-read permission, add a card through Autumn and Stripe's setup-only checkout to start your free trial. Signing in alone does not start a new trial. We use the confirmed email associated with your X account when available and default to a first email the next morning at 8:00 AM in your browser's timezone. You can change the address, time, and timezone in settings; a manually entered address must be verified before email delivery.
If X does not provide a confirmed email, you can still add a card to start the trial and bookmark tracking. You can view saved Posts without supplying an inbox. The service checks for new bookmarks shortly before the daily delivery time, but sends emails only when a confirmed delivery address is available.
The five newest available bookmarks at connection form an initial reference point. They are not emailed or counted against your allowance. Historical importing is not included. We do not delete or modify your bookmarks on X.
Newly discovered Posts are combined into a daily digest. We aim to email each Post only once per account, including if you remove and re-bookmark it. No digest is sent when there are no pending Posts. The service does not include summaries, folders, search, team accounts, or multiple scheduled daily digests.
X does not supply bookmark timestamps. "Saved today" means discovered by the service since the previous completed synchronization, not necessarily bookmarked on that calendar date. A Post removed before synchronization may never be discovered.
3. Plans and payment
- Free trial: 25 newly processed Posts or seven days, whichever comes first. For new users, the trial starts only after X sign-in and successful card setup through Autumn and Stripe. Trial time and usage are tracked locally; setup does not select or purchase a paid plan. Card details are stored by Stripe, not by mailmelater.app. There is no automatic subscription charge or conversion when the trial ends; upgrading requires a separate explicit purchase. Trials already started before the card requirement continue unchanged.
- Personal: 100 Posts per monthly billing period for $4.99 per month.
- Pro: 300 Posts per monthly billing period for $9.99 per month.
- Power: 800 Posts per monthly billing period for $19.99 per month.
- Optional top-ups: an additional 100 Posts for $2.99 per block.
Prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes and the final amount will be shown at checkout. There is no permanent free or unlimited plan.
At the end of the trial, new bookmark processing stops and we send one upgrade reminder to your confirmed delivery email unless you have unsubscribed. Already-collected trial Posts can still finish sending. Your saved Posts remain available in your account; receiving new daily bookmark emails requires an upgrade.
Paid subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. By completing a paid checkout, you authorize the disclosed recurring charges. Billing periods follow your subscription anniversary rather than the calendar month. Any immediate charge or proration for a plan change will be shown before you confirm it.
We will provide advance notice of material price changes and apply them prospectively, subject to applicable law. Statutory cancellation, refund, and consumer rights remain unaffected by these terms.
4. Allowances and optional top-ups
Usage counts unique new bookmarked Posts successfully processed during your billing period. Initial baseline Posts, duplicates, previously processed Posts, re-bookmarked Posts already in your history, and email retries do not count again. A successfully processed Post can count even if its email delivery is delayed.
Unused included monthly allowance expires at the next reset. Purchased additional Posts carry over while your account remains active, but do not replace the requirement for an active paid subscription after the trial. The trial allowance does not renew.
By default, imports pause when your allowance is exhausted. Posts already processed can still be emailed. The service preserves its completed synchronization boundary so a backlog can resume after an upgrade, successful top-up, or allowance reset, subject to X availability and safety checks.
If you explicitly enable automatic top-ups, you authorize $2.99 charges for blocks of 100 additional Posts as needed. More than one block may be purchased in a billing period. You can disable automatic top-ups in billing settings. Imports remain paused if payment fails or a configured purchase limit is reached.
The dashboard and digests show usage and the next reset date. We provide allowance notices at 80% and 100%. We do not promise an exact count of bookmarks waiting beyond the limit.
5. Unsubscribe, cancel, or delete
Unsubscribe from email: stops digests and imports. It does not cancel a paid subscription. Essential security, billing, and account notices may still be sent.
Disconnect X: stops bookmark synchronization. It does not automatically cancel billing or delete existing account records.
Cancel your subscription: stops its next renewal. Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. Canceling renewal does not itself request a refund.
Delete your account: cancels recurring billing and removes stored account and bookmark data from the application's active database, subject to the limited legal retention described in the Privacy policy. It does not delete emails already delivered or anything on X.
6. Acceptable use and content
Use the service only for accounts and inboxes you control. Do not attempt unauthorized access, bypass usage limits, abuse trials, resell access, or use the service for unlawful activity. We may restrict access to address abuse, security risks, failed payments, or legal requirements.
Posts and media remain the property of their respective rights holders. Receiving a digest does not grant permission to republish, redistribute, or otherwise use content beyond the rights you already have. You authorize us to retrieve, store, and email the content needed to provide the digest you request.
mailmelater.app is independent of, and is not endorsed by or affiliated with, X. X and other third-party services are subject to their own terms.
7. Availability and delivery limitations
Your selected time is a scheduling target, not a guaranteed arrival time. X rate limits, expired authorization, outages, timezone changes, and email filtering or provider delays can postpone a digest. Deleted or unavailable Posts may be omitted.
If the service cannot safely find its previous bookmark reference point, synchronization pauses for repair rather than importing your history. Repairs may require your input; resetting a reference point can skip undiscovered bookmarks and should not happen without a clear warning.
We use durable delivery records to avoid duplicates. If an email provider may have accepted a message but confirmation is missing, we hold it for reconciliation instead of blindly sending it again. This can delay or prevent a delivery. Provider acceptance does not guarantee arrival in your inbox.
Do not use the service as your only archive or for time-critical communications. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Responsibility and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from service interruptions, missing third-party content, or delayed emails. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer protections.
Any final governing-law or dispute provisions must receive legal review before launch. This draft does not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a particular court or jurisdiction.
9. Changes and contact
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required by law. The updated date appears at the top of this page.
