Privacy policy
Your bookmarks are personal. Here is what mailmelater.app needs to turn them into a daily email, and how that information is handled.

1. About this policy
This policy covers mailmelater.app, a service designed to email you a daily digest of newly discovered Posts you bookmark on X. It does not cover X or other third-party services, which have their own privacy policies.
This preview supports X sign-in, a card-required free trial, bookmark tracking, and essential session cookies, but has no advertising or analytics scripts. Adding a card starts the trial without selecting a paid plan. Paid billing requires a separate explicit purchase.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your X user ID, username, display name, available profile image, and confirmed email address when X makes it available. You may choose a different delivery email.
- Authorization: the access and refresh tokens needed to read your bookmarks on your behalf. We do not receive your X password.
- Bookmark information: Post IDs, text, URLs, author IDs and available author details, media information, and when each Post was first seen by the service.
- Delivery preferences and records: your verified delivery email, delivery time, timezone, digest contents, delivery attempts, provider acceptance, and unsubscribe status.
- Usage and billing: your trial activation status, selected plan if any, unique processed Post count, allowance period, top-up preferences, and billing customer, subscription, and transaction references. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by mailmelater.app.
- Operational information: limited request, error, and security records needed to operate the service. These may include IP address, browser information, and request time.
On connection, we use the five newest available bookmark IDs as an initial reference point. These existing bookmarks are not included in your digest or charged against your allowance. We do not offer historical importing.
3. How we use information
We use this information to connect your X account, activate your free trial after card setup, discover new bookmarks, prevent duplicate delivery, schedule and send digests, measure usage, manage payments, and respond to account or security issues. A confirmed email supplied by X is used by default. If X does not supply one, you can still add a card to start the trial and view saved Posts without an inbox; email delivery waits until an address is available and confirmed. Trials already started before the card requirement continue unchanged.
When your trial ends, we send one upgrade reminder to your confirmed delivery address unless you have unsubscribed. We keep a delivery record to prevent duplicate reminders and safely retry interrupted sends.
X does not provide the time a Post was bookmarked. We record the time we first discover it. Email wording such as "Posts you saved today" refers to Posts discovered since the previous completed synchronization, not a verified bookmark date.
We do not sell your personal information or bookmark history, use them for targeted advertising, or use your bookmarks to train AI models.
6. Retention and deletion
Account and bookmark records are retained while needed to operate your account. In particular, previously processed Post IDs are retained to prevent the same Post being emailed again if you remove and re-bookmark it. Disconnecting X stops synchronization but is not an account-deletion request.
Deleting your account removes its stored account and bookmark data from the application's active database and cancels recurring billing. Limited records may need to remain with billing providers to satisfy tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or other legal obligations.
Any backup copies are subject to the backup retention cycle and are not used to restore a deleted account to active service. Deletion does not remove emails already delivered to your inbox or change anything on X.
7. Your choices and rights
You can change your delivery address, time, and timezone; unsubscribe from digests; disconnect X; revoke access in X's connected-app settings; or delete your account. Unsubscribing stops both digests and bookmark imports but does not itself cancel a paid subscription. Billing cancellation is a separate control.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent where relied on, or complain to a data protection authority. These rights are subject to applicable law and identity verification.
Where a legal basis is required, account and delivery processing is used to perform the service you request; security and operational processing supports legitimate interests; required billing records meet legal obligations; and optional processing requiring consent will rely on your consent.
8. Security and age requirements
We aim to limit access to personal information to what is necessary to operate the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not connect an account or choose a delivery inbox that you are not authorized to use.
The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed at children.
9. Changes and contact
Changes will be reflected in the date above. We will provide notice of material changes where required by law.
